Duraline®, a leading
manufacturer of lighting streamers and other electrical power
distribution systems for over 50 years, announces the availability
of its enhanced 4M20 Male Plug and 4F20 Female Connector, now
providing complete protection against dust and allowing for continuous
submersion in up to 6’ of water when capped or mated. Duraline
electrical products are available from 1 thru 1200 amps, 12 thru
5000 volts, and can be fitted with up to 20 contacts. All Duraline
products are designed to reduce downtime and eliminate GFI system
problems.
Duraline’s 4M20
Male Plugs and 4F20 Female Connectors are 4 wire IP68 rated for
15 to 25 Amps 600 Volts Max. The connectors are available molded
to Type SOW-A Cable on #14 AWG rated 15 amps, #12 AWG rated 20
amps and #10 AWG rated 25 amps and are available as pigtails or
extension cords. Standard connector colors include black, red,
white, blue and orange.
Duraline’s 4M20
and 4F20 connectors are constructed using the highest quality
materials to insure long life and trouble-free operation. Each
connector is thoroughly inspected and repeatedly tested during
the manufacturing process. All Duraline connectors are molded
in solid Hypalon (registered trademark DuPont Dow Elastomers) chlorosulfonated polyethylene type 4085 rubber permanently bonded to heavy duty cable.
The connectors’ unique seal design isolates one contact
from the other and creates a watertight seal.
