/ Wet Location
low voltage hand lamps operating at 12 volts. Duraline Low
Voltage products are highly reliable and provide safe lighting indoor,
outdoors, underground and in wet locations.
These low voltage vapor proof hand lamps operating at 12 volts and are
ideal when jobsite locations require an O.S.H.A compliant portable
lighting solutions for use in wet and possible conductive locations.
The lightweight transformer is housed in a small waterproof enclosure
molded to the cable with a removable cover for servicing. This
enclosure is molded of Hypalon (registered trademark DuPont Dow Elastomers) chlorosulfonated polyethylene type 4085 rubber to protect transformer for
environment. This hand lamp also features an encapsulated switch,
which is molded into the body of the hand-light and is completely
watertight. These
sockets include a heavy-duty, internal crush-proof ring around the
screw shell, an external grounding ring and a molded-in, heavy-duty
brass hanging grommet. The body style is designed to accommodate a Vapor-Proof Pyrex globe and 75 Watt max 12 Volt incandescent lamp. A heavy gauge steel wire guard is
finished with a Zinc-Chromate plating for protection against
corrosion. Socket
bodies are molded of durable Hypalon (registered trademark DuPont Dow Elastomers) chlorosulfonated polyethylene type 4085 rubber, and each socket is integrally
molded to type SOOW cable.
